Cold War tensions 2
The second example of Cold War tensions is the "Arms Race". The arms race between the United States and the USSR was the height of brinkmanship, where one country would develop a new powerful weapon and the other would develop the same weapon or one that was more powerful. For example, when the United States developed the H-bomb it took the Soviets matters of months to make one of their own. Eventually there were no more weapons that could be made, in because of that each country would put their weapons closer and closer to each others boarders. Such as when we put our weapns in Turkey and they put theirs in Cuba.
